The manga adaptation of the famous Capcom game Rockman ZX (Known as Megaman ZX outside Japan) This manga takes place in the 26th century, when Human and Reploids have finally reached an era of peace and harmony, and beings that is a combination of both races, the Humanoids, have already been formed. However, there are still those who oppose this peace, and such beings are branded with the common name "Irregulars" The story revolves around Vent, a boy who was orphaned in an attack of the "Irregulars" 10 years ago.

In a summer vacation, a group of 15 children discovered a mysterious man living in a seashore cave, along with his high-tech gadgets. The man claimed to be a game developer creating a video game with a giant robot defending Earth from 15 alien invaders, and asked those childs to test the game for him. The kids agreed happily at first, but soon they began to find the game horrifying, not only because of its realism but also because the first fatality among them happened right after their first victory. Worse yet, they had no idea how to stop or leave the "game."

It turns out it this world is in peril of being taken over by an evil group called RI-ON and the only thing that can possibly stop them in none other than Reiji's little dragon! Tsutomu Nihei returns with another addictive manga (see BLAME!), set in the not-so-distant future (3005 A.D.). It follows a character by the name of Kanoe Zouichi and the mysterious Kanoe Fuyu whose luminous form is integrated into the system of his bike. They are agents sent by a powerful organization to retrieve the human with the ability to resist and transmute the NS5 infection that is spreading across the world, named Yion/Ion Green. However, their mission is delayed by the reckless actions of the Public Health Department's taskforce and the kidnapping of Yion/Ion Green. Will they complete their mission? Where has Yion/Ion Green been taken? These questions will only be answered as more volumes are released. The art in BioMega is similar to BLAME!, with its complicated concrete sprawl and ludicrously wide, empty spaces. However, things seem to happen at a more reasonable pace. In this manga, there is emphasis on the swiftness of the attacks made by Zouichi, such as the gun being sheathed just before the enemies fall to the ground. Speed is crucial in this manga, unlike in BLAME!, and the plot develops just as quickly. An interesting read, especially if one has enjoyed BLAME!

Unlike the previous times, they actually are too late to organize counter measures and there is almost no hope of stopping them due to many adverse circumstances....The pirates must now fall back on desperate plans, taking huge risk while trying to stop the abominable "Zeus Thunder" project before mother Earth is completely engulfed by the flames of war.
